Biryani Boys in Edinburgh

"Pretty good, no complaints. Delivery service was great and the meals were pretty good portions but I’ve had better biryanis with the amount of competition in Edinburgh. Still great flavour but a little overpowered by the caramelised onions for my liking. I had the mini chicken biryani and lamb biryani, both very similar but both a bit shy on the meat quantity, again in comparison to the same dish and price to other restaurants. Lamb was lovely and tender but just not much of it unfortunately"

"I ordered a mini paneer 65 biryani for take away. The portion was very generous for £5.99. The paneer wasn’t soft but the flavors were great, the order was ready in 10-15 mins. The only thing I didn’t like was that they don’t give raita with biryani, its extra. However the guy at the desk gave me one for free which was nice. I will order again!"

"They are busy but I don't mind waiting for good food, so respect that. Picked up two orders, friends ate their stuff in the car, and I waited to bring it home. I ordered chicken biryani and malai boti with a naan. Biryani and boti both authentic taste, so 5 stars. One recommendation, though, is to use chicken thigh for malai boti. It would be much more softer/malai. Order of my friends. They ate biryani, but as soon as they took the first bite of your chicken seekh kebabs, we stopped the car and found a home for them (Bin it) Lesson to be learnt here, your expertise is biryani, so focus on that. there is no need to expand menu without expertise. "The vegetarian biryani was aromatic and filling, the egg masala curry was rich and hearty, and the paneer roll was soft and packed with flavour. Great veggie-friendly menu, and everything arrived hot and fresh. Will definitely order again!"

"OMG OMG OMG... I just can't believe it that I had the best biryani in town!!! It's just insane that I found this place... It's the closest and undoubtedly the best biryani I've had in Edinburgh until now... You can ask the chef to modify the spice level, and it's the best I can ask for... I just can't find more words to express the taste... And even though it's just a take away, the staff is really friendly... I would recommend this place for sure, and at any cost try to have biryani from here atleast if you come to Edinburgh... Sorry that I couldn't take the picture if the biryani I had, as I finished it as soon as I opened it... It was that aromatic..."

"Literally never ordered something I didn't like from here, the food is AMAZING! This time I got the lamb biryani and the peri peri paneer, both were absolutely delicious, I always order for delivery and the food is always hot and fresh, I'm never disappointed. Would be 5 stars but the delivery driver was absolutely clueless, he called me and I had to give him step by step instructions on how to get to my house and he still couldn't quite figure it out until we looked for him. All in all this is my favourite Indian takeaway and the Indian Chinese fusion dishes are so fun and tasty !"
